At Roots Essentials, we strive to ensure that you are fully satisfied with your purchase. If you face any issues, please review our refund and exchange guidelines below.
1. Eligibility for an Exchange
We accept only exchanges under the following conditions:
- Product is damaged, defective, or leaking
- Wrong product has been delivered
- Product is missing from the order
To be eligible:
- Product must be unused and in original packaging
- Request must be raised within 48 hours of delivery
2. How to Request an Exchange
To initiate a request, please contact us with:
- Order number
- Clear images/videos of the product and packaging
- Description of the issue

3. Exchange Process
- Once your request is approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup (if available)
- If reverse pickup is not available, you may be asked to self-ship the product
- Product must be returned in original condition with packaging
4. Refund Policy
- Refunds are processed only after inspection and approval
- Refund will be credited in form of Gift Card.
- Timeline: 7–10 working days after approval
5. Non-Exchangeable Cases
We do NOT accept an exchange in the following cases:
- Product used or tampered with
- Request raised after 48 hours of delivery
- Damage due to misuse or improper handling
- Personal dislike (fragrance, colour, preference, etc.)
6. Cancellation Policy
- Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order
- Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled
7. Important Notes
- Unboxing video is recommended for faster resolution
- Roots Essentials reserves the right to reject invalid claims
- Shipping charges (if any) are non-refundable
